            KES SMART TV macOS Display Settings

            The Macs try to be helpful when connecting to the TV, but it gets it wrong too much of the time. Here’s how to fix the settings for the computer so the TV will show the computer and not the HDMI 1 graphic.


            System Settings


            1. Open System Settings:

            1. Click on Displays on the left:


            1. Click on the TV that starts with SBID 

            2. Verify that the resolution is 1920 x 1080 

            3. Set the refresh rate to 30 Hertz


            (For a larger image, you can set the resolution to 1280 x 720)
