Users can update programs using our managed software app.
To do so go to applications and scroll down to utilities
Look for Managed Software Update and double click on it.
The computer will now scan and download new software if available.
When it's done you will see a list of software that will get updated or installed on your machine. Go ahead and click update now.
You will then get one of 2 boxes as some apps require a restart of the computer If you get the top one just click on update without logging out
This will log your machine out, sync your home directory (if on a laptop), update apple and 3rd party applications.
