When using a TV with a computer, you have two options for displaying, mirroring and spanning. Spanning uses the projector as a secondary screen, while mirroring shows the same image on both screens. A majority of the time you will want mirroring turned on. You can turn it on with the following steps:
- Connect computer to the display (or extender.)
- Select the screen mirroring icon in control center.
- Sometimes called screen share, it could also be in the toolbar at the top of your screen.
- Select which option you would like to display.
- Entire Screen - traditional "mirror display" the TV shows exactly what you see on the monitor.
- Window or App - Show a specific window on the screen, everything else is only on the monitor.
- Extended Display - Show only what you "drag" to the TV. The TV is treated as a separate display entirely.
- Chance the options at any time.
